Recording notice
This conversation is recorded. If you talk to iAddison — by voice or by text — the session is recorded for quality, legal, and governance. There is no off-the-record mode. If you do not agree, do not start. Hang up or leave the page.
1. Who this is for
This notice speaks to two groups:
- A person talking to iAddison on this site or on a business that embedded her.
- A business that bought or embedded iAddison. You must put this notice (or equivalent) in front of your visitors and callers. Hiding it, softening it, or telling someone the call is “not recorded” is a breach of the Terms.
2. What is recorded
From the moment a session starts until it ends:
- Audio of the call or spoken session, when voice is on
- The words she says and the words you type or speak
- A written transcript
- Time, date, duration, the page or number you used, and technical identifiers (such as IP address and session id)
- Contact details you give her (name, email, phone, company, message)
- Which facts she used and any hand-off she attempted
We process voice to recognize words. We do not build a voiceprint to identify you across sessions. See the Privacy Policy.
3. Why — quality, legal, and governance
- Quality. So the operator can hear how the desk was sat, catch failures, and fix the book. A bad session that cannot be replayed cannot be fixed.
- Legal. So there is a record of what was asked and what was answered — disputes, fraud, chargebacks, abuse, and lawful process from a court, regulator, or law-enforcement or national-security authority. Recordings may be produced in those proceedings.
- Governance. So the business that deployed her, and National Security Intelligence LLC, can audit that she stayed inside approved facts, did not invent a price or a booking, and was used as intended.
Those three purposes are why recording is mandatory. It is not an analytics extra. It is how the product is run.
4. Who hears it
The business that embedded iAddison, National Security Intelligence LLC, and processors that host or transcribe the session (for example Cloudflare and speech or model vendors). Records may be produced to a court, regulator, or law-enforcement or national-security authority when required. The iAddison brand is not a separate company; NSI holds the records.
5. Consent
Continuing after this notice is consent to recording where the law treats continued participation as consent. In places that require a separate opt-in (including some all-party consent states and some privacy regimes), the site owner must collect that opt-in before iAddison speaks. Starting a session is agreement that you were notified.
You may decline, hang up, or leave. You may use email instead: info@iaddison.com. You cannot demand that this session go unrecorded. We cannot turn recording off for an active session.
6. If you embed her — you must tell them
Before a visitor or caller talks, you must make this fact obvious: this conversation is recorded for quality, legal, and governance. Put it on the page, in the widget, and in the first words of a phone greeting. Obtain any extra consent the law requires where you operate. If you cannot, do not turn her on. Failure to notice is your liability, not NSI’s, and not the brand’s. You indemnify NSI for that failure under the Terms.
7. What she will not pretend
- She will not tell you the call is private, encrypted end-to-end against the operator, or “just between us.”
- She will not give legal, medical, or financial advice.
- She will not invent a price or a booking. Empty book: she takes a message, and that message is recorded too.
8. How long, and how to ask
Recordings are kept for the life of the customer account and a reasonable period after, longer if a legal or governance hold requires it. If you talked to her on someone else’s site, ask that business first. Privacy requests: info@iaddison.com.
