Privacy Policy
The short version. Every conversation with iAddison is recorded — voice and text — for quality, legal, and governance. We do not sell that data. If you embed her on your site or phone line, you must tell your visitors and callers before they talk, and you must collect any consent the law requires. iAddison is a brand, not a separate company. NSI operates the product. Claims about the avatar land on NSI under the Terms, not on the name, face, or voice.

1. Who we are
National Security Intelligence LLC operates iaddison.com and sells the iAddison avatar. iAddison is not a separate legal entity. The avatar, name, face, visemes, voice, and marks are intellectual property of Timothy Astras, copyrighted to Timothy Astras, patent pending, trademark pending, licensed to NSI. For privacy questions write info@iaddison.com.
This policy covers (a) this marketing site, (b) presale reservations, purchases and accounts, and (c) use of the avatar on a customer’s website, widget, phone number, or other channel we enable. Stripe processes payments. We do not store full card numbers. A presale payment is a reservation until we enable the avatar on your property.
2. Two roles — read this if you buy her
Privacy law cares who is the “controller” of a person’s data.
- This website and our own demo. When you visit iaddison.com, email us, or talk to a demo of iAddison that we run, NSI is the controller of that information.
- Your deployment. When you embed iAddison on your property, the people talking to her are your visitors and callers. You are the controller of their data. NSI processes session records on your instructions to run the product, for quality, legal, and governance, and as described here. You must publish your own privacy policy to those people. This page does not replace it.
3. Recording — quality, legal, and governance
All calls and conversations with iAddison are recorded. There is no unrecorded mode. That is a condition of the product, not an optional setting. The full public notice is at iaddison.com/recording. This section is the privacy detail.
3.1 What is recorded
- Audio of a voice call or spoken browser session, when voice is on, from the moment the session starts until it ends.
- Everything typed in chat, and the words she speaks or writes in reply.
- A written transcript of the session.
- Time, date, duration, the page or number used, and technical identifiers we can see (IP address, user agent, session id).
- Contact details a person gives her (name, email, phone, company, message, and any other field you configured).
- Which facts from your book she used, and any tool or hand-off she attempted.
3.2 Why we record
- Quality. So the operator can hear how the desk was sat, catch failures, fix the book, and train people who run her. A conversation that went wrong is useless if nobody can replay it.
- Legal. So there is a contemporaneous record of what was asked and what was answered — for disputes, chargebacks, fraud, abuse, subpoenas, court orders, and lawful process from a court, regulator, or law-enforcement or national-security authority. Recordings may be produced in those proceedings.
- Governance. So you and NSI can audit that she stayed inside the facts you approved, that she did not invent a price or a booking, and that the channel was used as intended. Empty book still takes a message; the message is part of the record.
We cannot turn recording off for a live session. If you cannot lawfully record, do not turn her on. If a visitor does not agree, they must not start the conversation — hang up or leave the page.
3.3 Consent
On properties NSI operates, we disclose recording before or at the start of a session. Continuing after that notice is consent where the law treats continued participation as consent.
On your property, you must give that notice to every visitor and caller before or at the start of the session, and you must obtain any additional consent your jurisdiction requires — including all-party / two-party consent states and territories, GDPR / UK GDPR where they apply, and biometric privacy laws (Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act, Illinois BIPA, and equivalents). iAddison does not obtain that consent for you. Skipping the notice is your breach, not a defect in the product. See the Terms.
3.4 Voice and biometrics
Texas law treats a voiceprint as a biometric identifier. We process voice audio to recognize words so she can answer, and we retain session audio and transcripts as described above. We do not create, extract, enroll, store, compare, or match a voiceprint. We do not use a voice to identify or authenticate a person across sessions. We do not sell biometric identifiers.
4. What we collect
4.1 You give us
- Account and billing: name, email, company, domain, and Stripe customer and payment status. Not the full card number.
- Configuration: the facts, scripts, hours, and policies you load into her book.
- Messages you send us at info@iaddison.com or any other address we publish.
4.2 Sessions
The recording set in section 3.1, for every conversation on a channel we host.
4.3 Automatically
IP address, request headers, timestamps, error logs, and Cloudflare routing metadata, used to run and protect the site and the product. This marketing site does not use Google Analytics and does not drop advertising cookies.
4.4 Do not send
Do not put passwords, card numbers, Social Security or taxpayer IDs, protected health information, classified national-security information, CUI, or export-controlled technical data into a conversation with iAddison. She is an unclassified public channel unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. If you send that material anyway, you do so at your own risk; we may delete it and we may suspend the channel.
5. How we use it
- To provide, bill, support, and secure the product.
- For the quality, legal, and governance purposes in section 3.
- To answer your inquiry and follow up about a purchase.
- To defend NSI, iAddie, and the iAddison brand, and to comply with law.
We may review sessions to evaluate how she performed. We do not use visitor conversations to train a public model we do not control unless a later written notice says so; if that changes, this policy will change first.
6. We do not sell personal information
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell visitor conversation data. We do not sell, lease, or disclose biometric identifiers.
7. Who we share it with
We share personal information with processors who handle it on our instructions, and as the law requires.
| Who | What they handle |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting, edge delivery, email routing/sending, and related infrastructure |
| Stripe | Payment processing if you buy |
| Speech and model vendors we attach | Real-time speech, language, and replies for the avatar |
| You, the customer | Leads and session records from your deployment, so you can run your desk |
We may also disclose records to a court, regulator, or law-enforcement or national-security authority when required or when we reasonably believe we must; to protect rights, safety, or property; and in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case the recipient must honor this policy.
The iAddison name, face, and voice are not a mailbox you can sue. Disclosures and legal process are directed to NSI.
8. How long we keep it
Session recordings and transcripts are kept for the life of the customer account and a reasonable period after cancellation, and longer when a legal hold, dispute, chargeback, investigation, or governance review requires it. Account and billing records follow tax and accounting rules. Ask in writing and we will delete what we are not required to keep. Quality, legal, and governance holds come first.
9. If you embed iAddison — your duties
As between you and NSI, you are responsible for:
- Telling every visitor and caller that the conversation is recorded, before or at the start, using the Recording notice or equivalent wording that is at least as clear.
- Collecting any consent the law requires in the places you operate, including all-party consent jurisdictions.
- Publishing your own privacy policy that covers your use of iAddison.
- The truth of the facts in her book. She must not invent a price, a booking, or a capability you did not load.
- Not using her to collect data you have no right to collect, and not putting her on a property whose primary audience is children.
NSI is not your lawyer and is not your privacy officer. The Terms require you to indemnify NSI if you skip this.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal data we hold, subject to recording and legal holds. Email info@iaddison.com. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify who you are. There is no charge for a reasonable request. If you talked to iAddison on someone else’s site, contact that business first — they are the controller of that session. We will help them as the processor.
Texas residents who appeal a denial may contact the Texas Attorney General.
You can decline microphone access and use another channel, or not start a session. You cannot demand an unrecorded session.
11. Children
iAddison is a business product. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Do not put her on a property whose primary audience is children. If you believe a child used her, write us and we will delete what we can.
12. Visitors outside the United States
We operate in the United States. Processors may handle data in the U.S. If you access the site or the avatar from elsewhere, you understand the information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ. Do not use iAddison if that is not acceptable.
13. Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Card numbers go to Stripe, not to our mailbox. No system is perfect. Report issues to info@iaddison.com. This section is a description, not a warranty. The liability cap in the Terms still applies.
14. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top will change. Material changes will be on this page before they take effect. Continued use means acceptance. Recording for quality, legal, and governance will not be switched off by a later edit without a clear statement that it has been.
